Fleet News Awards at Grosvenor House
/It was marvelous news to be selected to perform at the Fleet News Awards this year at the prestigious Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel, a luxurious 5-star Mayfair hotel on London’s park lane, with our 7-piece band line-up. The space was the hotel’s main function room called, appropriately, The Great Room, as it hosts over 1000 guests, so we were expecting a reasonably sized audience. The gig was fun and we were happy to retain an audience on the dance floor for the duration of the show, not always possible and corporate events, especially late finishes on awards nights, when people have already been at the party for many hours. We were very happy to have exceeded our client’s expectations and hope to make a return appearance.
